2021 Recap

I know, I know.. it’s mid-February, why am I writing about my 2021 recap now?!
Well, it’s been a busy few months. I ended 2021 with a bang and barely had any recovery time before I was thrown into the hustle and bustle once again. (Which I’m not complaining about!)

I finally have some free time to sit down and reflect on what a crazy rollercoaster 2021 has been.
For ESP it’s definitely been the best year yet and I can’t wait to see what else 2022 has in store for me.

I’ve had the opportunity to try new things and work with so many new people, I’m forever grateful and truly blessed to be able to do what I love because of all of you.

2021 was filled with many opportunities and accomplishments, big and small. They all matter and make a world of a difference, and I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of them!

• I partnered with Groupon.

• One of my best friends along with her cast-mates launched a new podcast called Expressions Podcast. I was asked to be one of their guests on episode 14. You can listen to it on YouTube or Spotify.

• I built up the courage to get my own photographs taken.

• I bit the bullet and offered Holiday Mini Sessions. It started with one date, which sold out in under two weeks. I quickly decided to add two more days and they sold out as well.
  In total I held three days of Holiday mini sessions and sold out all three!

• I was published in Bold and Beautiful Magazine for 9 issues.
  (Issue 196: Trees, Holiday Edition: Lights, Ornaments, Winter Wonderland, Plaid, Christmas, Hot Cocoa, Trucks, New Years)

• I worked with over 30 new families and had numerous re-book sessions with me.

2022 started off with a ton of new opportunities, but I wont share those just yet!

Thank you for everyone who takes the time to read my blogs, likes or follows me on social media, likes and comments on my posts, re-shares my content and tags me in the images that they post. It might not seem a lot to you, but this means so much to me and appreciate it very much.

Valentine’s Day Partnership

Earlier this year I was contacted by Cloud Ten Studios in Mississauga, ON and was given a partnership opportunity to hold my Valentine’s mini sessions with them.

The focus of these Valentine’s mini sessions were to capture and celebrate couples in love. Love has no age, and I feel that that was captured in these photographs with my couples.

It was a fun fast-paced day at Cloud Ten Studios, filled with so much love around us.

Cloud Ten Studios is a great studio space – cozy but elegant with lots of variety in the room and natural light.

Holiday Minis – NEW Date Added

It’s only been a couple weeks since I’ve announced the Holiday mini in the Sophia studio.. I have SOLD OUT Sophia on December 12th!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has booked a session!

With that being said, I have decided to add ONE more date for Holiday minis!

These will happen on one day only! There is limited availability and spots are filling fast! 

Whether you’re interested in getting some images of yourself, your family, loved one – all are welcomed!
Small pets are welcomed as well, however, please note, you will be liable for any accidents or damages.

They will take place on Saturday, December 4th at The Glasshouse Studios in Richmond Hill, ON in the Elle studio.

The sessions is $150 for 20 minutes and include 10 digital images.

Canada Goose Women’s Black Label Hybrid Jacket

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to photograph this Women’s Black Label Hybrid CW Down Jacket for the Canada Goose’s look book.

It was a gorgeous spring day in Pickering, ON. The sun was shining and the sound of the water trickling in the distance from the stream was exhilarating.

This light-weight down filled jacket is so flattering with it’s comfortable waist-hugging silhouette. This feather-light jacket is breathable, wind and water resistant and features a waterproof packable hood and reflective details that will be visible in low-light.

Hey!

I’ve noticed some new faces here, and it’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself!

I’m Elisa, the lady behind the lens!

I’m from Markham, Ontario. I watch more sappy chick flicks than the average person. I’m a concert fanatic and love exploring, taking photos and drink way too much coffee!

My passion for photography started as a young girl. I’ve studied it throughout high school and college, I’ve always knownn that this is what I wanted to pursue and I still love it to this day!

COVID-19

Since COVID-19 is still amount us, I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries, and some concerns about COVID-19 and contact.

I’m here to address any and all questions you may have!

Q: I am feeling a little under the weather, can we still proceed with our session?
A: If you are feeling unwell, to reduce your risk of catching or spreading illness, please, stay home, even if your symptoms are mild.

Q: I’m feeling unwell and am unable to attend our scheduled session, what happens now?
A: You will be able to reschedule your session for a later time.

Q: Will I have to show my vaccination status?
A: No, showing proof is not required.

Q: What is required once I enter the studio?
A: A quick temperature check is required for everyone walking into the studio.

Q: I want to book a session but am afraid of coming into contact.
A: There will be plenty of space and there is no need for me to come into your personal bubble. I can ensure you that there will be 6 feet, or more between us.
Contact is not mandatory, you will be directed from afar.

Q: Will there be sanitization station?
A: Yes, there will be sanitizer readily available. I also ask everyone to sanitize before and after their shoot.

Q: Are masks required?
A: Masks have to be worn in the building, but can be removed once you enter the studio room.
Masks must be worn after your session, before leaving the studio.

Q: I want to book a time slot, but someone will be there before me.
A: I have blocked off time in between each session to ensure sanitization and a wipe down of the set before the next clients.

Happy New Year

We made it through 2019, what a year it has been!

It seems that with a blink of an eye we’re welcoming 2020 – I couldn’t be more excited for a fresh start, new goals and to see what this new year has to offer.

I wanted to thank my clients for the wonderful opportunities throughout the year and look forward to working together this year!

I have so many ideas and projects I want to introduce and offer this year, so please, stay tuned for announcements!
